It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelie Sloan (Harbeson, Delaware), born in Dover, Delaware, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Hall Anderson and Blanche Virden Brown Anderson of Dover; and her children, Samuel Morris Sloan, Jr. (Lyn) of Annapolis, Sara Sloan Campbell of Fircrest and Henry Hall Sloan of Harbeson, Delaware. She was also cherished by her 9 grandchildren; her 16 great-grandchildren; and her 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Rehoboth Art League, 12 Dodds Lane, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971, or St. George's Chapel, 20274 Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson, DE 19951.
