With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pleasant Batson Jr. of Greenwood, Delaware, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise and Pleasant Batson, Sr.; and his sisters, Frances Newton, Jeannie Horne and Joann Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Batson; his daughter Rebecca B. Kidner (C. Scott Kidner); and his grandsons, Jack, Jeffrey and Grant Kidner. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
