It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Swartzentruber (Greenwood, Delaware), born in Onego, West Virginia, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhine Benner and Anna Stoudt Benner; her husband Lewis Swartzentruber; her son Daniel; and her siblings, James, Timothy, Millard, Elva and Rhoda.
She is survived by: her children, Fern Baker (Maynard) of Bassett, VA, Ruth Ann Hays (Steve) of Greenwood, DE and John David Swartzentruber (Carlene) of Greenwood, DE; her daughter-in-law Connie Holmberg (Skip) of Greenwood, DE; her brother Daniel Benner (Florence) of Rockingham, VA; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Swartzentruber Schrock (Truman) of Greenwood. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
