She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter, Sr. Murphy and Hazel Pippin Murphy; and her brothers, Walter Murphy, Jr. and William J. Murphy. She is survived by: her granddaughter Emilee; her husband Harvey H. Lofland; her children, David Arnold (Judy), Matt, Nick and Karen Lofland Maull (Mark); her granddaughter Caroline; and her sister Norma Lee Covey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
