It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William C. Townsend of Georgetown, Delaware, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Townsend and Ruth E Townsend; and his sister Alice K Baker. He is survived by: his nephew Steven D. Tyre (Nancy); his niece Krystal J. McCoy; his great-niece Dakota S. Tyre; and his great-nephew Trevor A. Timmons.
The family is requesting donations be made honoring Mr. Townsend to either St George's United Methodist Church, 34337 Omar Rd., Frankford, DE 19945 or The Water's Edge Church, 13275 Reynolds Road, Milton, DE 19968.
