It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter J. Godwin of Georgetown, Delaware, born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Godwin and Margaret Godwin (Quinter); his daughter Karyn; and his siblings, Earl, Edwin, James, Robert, Albert, Anna, William, Betty and Kate.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Godwin; his son David (Sandy); his grandchildren, Dana (Jose) and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Collin, Alaina and Chloe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
