She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Knight-Lingard and George "Chico" Lingard; her husband Prentice L. Doughty; and her sister Lillie K. Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Sharay, Sharonda Knight of Milford, DE and Wilbur Doughty of Georgetown, DE; her siblings, Gloria Rogers (Ross) of Frankford, DE, Theresa Johnson of Seaford, DE, Andrea Gordon of Chesapeake, VA, Mashell Knight (Temple) of Philadelphia, PA, Trudeanna Neal of Portsmouth, VA, Thomas Knight of Seaford, DE, Robert Knight of Milford, DE and Kenneth Knight; and her grandchildren, George Knight, Rakil Knight, Deja Knight, Gabrielle Knight, Trevell Palmer, Janyla Doughty and Wilbur Doughty Jr.. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
