He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Parker and Nellie Davidson Veasey; his wife Janice L. Veasey; his brothers, Johnny, Edward, Preston, Willard, Raymond and Harry; and his pet Richard.
He is survived by: his brothers, Kendal, Ralph and Harold Veasey; his sister-in-law Darlene Houseman; and also Oretha Quah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
They rarely missed a Saturday morning until Covid 19 restrictions changed our lives, Richard also attended monthly fish fries held at the Seaford Moose Lodge with Mitch Cooper, Dean Baker and Wayne Thorton.
