He is survived by: his wife Lora Hitchens (Toomey); his children, Ray Hitchens, Angela Hitchens, Christopher Hitchens, Andrew Hitchens and Lora Jean Hitchens; his son-in-law Anthony Johnson; his father-in-law Jim Toomey; and his siblings, Doris Henry, Doug Hitchens and James Hitchens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
