With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman Whaley Jr. of Georgetown, Delaware, born in Milford, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Bobby Lee Whaley; and his brother-in-law Eddie Hill. He is survived by: his significant other Anna Jane Whaley (Hill); his sister Barbara Fleetwood; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Hitchens (Charlie) and Victor Hill, III; his nieces, Cheryl Evans (Davis) and Angel Graham (Dave); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brody and Ellie; his friend Pat Payne; his goddaughter Dara Amber Donaway; and also, Kevin Hill (Elizabeth), Katie, Christopher Hitchens (Trista), Grayson, Brinley and Kinsley. He is also survived by family and also his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Norman's life to the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 77, Georgetown, DE 19947.
