She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Cannon and George Cannon; her siblings, Madeline Purnell (Leon), George Cannon II, Alfred "Ike" Cannon, Sr. (Bernice), James Cannon (Mary) and William "Billy" Cannon (Carolyn); and her nephews, John "Fatback" Cannon (Minnie) and Martin Oliver Gibbs.
She is survived by: her grandson Bishop Anthony Cannon; her children, Anthony Cannon, Joseph Gibbs of Manhattan, KS, Agnes Cannon of Georgetown, DE, Carla Cannon of Lincoln, DE, Mary Gibbs of Georgetown, DE, Josephine Gibbs of Milton, DE, Margaret Gibbs of Georgetown, DE and Robin Gibbs of Seaford, DE; and her close friends, Peggy Trott, Pastor Melissa Dukes, Carolyn "Pickles" Nichols, Betty Smith, Virginia Short and Tom Givens. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
