He was predeceased by: his parent Elva Bunting; and his brother Allen Bunting. He is survived by: his parent Eva Bunting (Evans); his wife Rosetta Bunting (Bowden); his children, Patricia Bunting, Evelyn Willey, Lester Bunting Jr. and Steve Bunting (Carol); his sister Arvetta Callis of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Brent Jackson (Kristen), Toni Wemlinger (Phil), Jessica Collins, Nathan Bunting, Staci Banks (Cody), Jamie Cahall (Jason), Aimee Millman (Curtis), Tyler Bunting and Thomas Bunting; and his great grandchildren, Chaz Wemlinger, Emma Jackson, Ayden Collins, Cheyenne Bunting and Jaycee Cahall.
