He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kahn and Anna Kahn; and his brothers, Edward Kahn, Patrick Kahn and Frederick Kahn.
He is survived by: his wife Ann L. Seidel; his sons, Eugene LaBelle of Middletown, DE, Paul LaBelle and Michelle of Wilmington, DE; his grandsons, Christopher, Camryn, Austin, Mark and Aiden; and his sisters, Trina Hottes (Ronald) of Georgetown, DE and Irene Swiderski. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Joe's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
