We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2024, at the age of 85, Joan Ann Godwin (Georgetown, Delaware) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Krupack and Josephine Krupack; her daughter Karyn; her sister Janice; and her husband Walter "Turk" Godwin.
She is survived by: her son David (Sandy); her grandchildren, Dana (Jose) and Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alaina, Chloe and Collin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Dodd-Carey Chapel (307 N Bedford St, Georgetown, DE 19947). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel (307 N Bedford St, Georgetown, DE 19947). A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
