It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Townsend Jr. (Georgetown, Delaware), who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Townsend, Sr. and Eva Townsend; and his siblings, Richard Townsend, Edna Steele, Eileen Reynolds and Coleta Dorey.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Lee Townsend (Davis) of Georgetown, DE; his sons, Jerry L. Townsend (Lora) of Laurel, DE, Michael W. Townsend, Sr. (Teresa) of Georgetown, DE and Ronnie Townsend (Michelle) of Millsboro, DE; his grandchildren, Amy Townsend (Chris Sipple), Michael Townsend, Jr. (Ashley), Jerry Townsend, Jr. of Laurel, DE, Kevin Townsend (Holly) of Laurel, DE and Lauren Lopez (Jorge) of Laurel, DE; and his great grandchildren, Bethanie, Caleigh, Noah, Elijah, Silas and Madilynne Townsend.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a memorial service will be held at a later date.
