He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordy Swift and Emma Swift Walker; his wife Betty; his sister Pauline Crowder; his stepbrother Paul Walker; and his children-in-law, Grant Smith and Missy Swift (Carol Murray).
He is survived by: his children, Joe Gray (Gisela), Dawn Rogers (Brooke), Lisa Swift, Fran Swift, Bill Swift and Norman Swift (Sherry); and his grandchildren, David Swift (Kim), Steven Gray (Faith), Nicole Hines, Samantha Welch (John), James Bradley (Heather), Wendy Evans (Ben), Amy Kuehl (Tyler), Emily Martinez (Alec), Josh Swift and Jacob Swift. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
