Fred Slabaugh Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Slabaugh (Georgetown, Delaware), who passed away on August 27, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lorenzo Slabaugh and Polly Slabaugh (Miller); his wife Barbara Slabaugh (Hostetler); his siblings, Walter E. Schlabach, Lloyd E. Schlabach, Paul Slabaugh, Martha Tucker, Mary Bender, Timothy Schlabach and Evangel Schlabach; his children, Kathryn Chupp (Andrew) of Georgetown, Grace Lambert (Norman) of Moravian Falls, N. C., Sam Slabaugh of Delmar, Chris Slabaugh (Joyce) of Quarryville and Nancy "Pip" Craig (Ron) of Seaford; his siblings, Titus Schlabach of Greenwood and Pollyanna Eby of Bellville; and his sister-in-law Josie Schlabach. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

They have asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Fred's memory be forwarded to Compassionate Care Hospice, 20165 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947 or Country Rest Home, 12046 Sunset Lane, Greenwood, DE 19950.
