With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence P. Battaglia Clifton of Georgetown, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on July 2, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florence P. Battaglia Clifton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Stella Ferringer (Harrington) and Nolen Agustus Howell; her former husband Anthony B. Battaglia, Sr.; her husband Curtis F. Clifton; and her siblings, Nolen "Buddy" Howell and Jean Elizabeth Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony "Tony" Battaglia (Kim) of Georgetown, DE and Stacy Gallagher (Joe) of Sinking Spring, PA; her grandchildren, Adam, Janine Battaglia, Christopher, Stephen Gallagher and Emily Kuhn; her great grandchild Jameson Krenz; her nieces and nephews, Author Gary of Richmond, VA, Robert Lee Bullock of North East, MD, Gene Battaglia of Rehoboth Beach, Rose Marie Lassalle of Bear, Rebecca Nancy MacDonald of Elkton, MD and Martina Donohue; and also, Linda Knox, McKenzie, Alexis and Paige. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the COVID 19 restrictions the funeral services will be private.
