He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest D. Smith and Marcia A. Smith (Cayes). He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Smith (Parks); his children, Marcia Kay Smith (William), David A. Smith Jr. (DuLana) and Gary L. Smith; his stepsons, Scott Meding (Donna) and Randy Meding (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ashlee, Harley, Gary Jr., Stephen, Donya, Tyler, Alexus, Joshua and Zachary; and his sisters, Patricia Dame and Shirley Genest. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
