He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hastings and Hazel Harper Hastings; his sister Tina Lofland; and his grandson Braxton Hastings. He is survived by: his wife Nanette Hastings of Georgetown, DE; his children, Rachael Coffelt (Troy) of Millsboro, DE, Jon Hastings of Georgetown, DE, Eric Hastings of Georgetown, DE and Heidi Perez (Ubaldo) of Georgetown, DE; his brother Dwight Hastings (MaryBeth) of Frankford, DE.; and his grandchildren, Owen Perez, Elliot Perez, Silas Perez, Ashton Coffelt, Zaccary Coffelt and Lauren Sammon (Ryan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
