She is survived by: her daughter April Sykes; her son-in-law Marvin Sykes; her grandchildren, Shenay Griffith (Chris), Jenneisha Parker (Darrell), Desiree Sykes and Marvin Sykes, Jr.; her siblings, Marilyn Patterson, Karen Hicks, Nadine Jackson and David Stradford; her great grandchildren, Laila, Zoe, Yari Parker and Kensli Griffith; and her close friends, Pickett, Ruby, Lorraine, Marlene, Janice, Mattie and Gloria. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
