It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph James Bowden of Frederica, Delaware, born in Seaford, Delaware, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his father Carl Chance, Jr.; his siblings, Roy Elzey III, Crystal Hignutt (Chris MacDonald) of Greenwood, DE, Justin Hignutt (Kathy) of Seaford, DE, Logan Chance of Virginia, Luke Chance U. S. M., C. Daniel Chance of Virginia and Alex Chance; his grandparents, Jane Ellis of Bridgeville, DE, Carl Sr. and Dorthy Chance of Greenwood, DE; and his father George Hignutt. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
