He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Effinger and Mable W. Effinger; his siblings, Joseph Effinger and Esther Fairbrother; and his daughter Diane Phillips.
He is survived by: his sister Mabel Moore; his daughter Linda Callaway; and his grandchildren, Mickey Callaway, Daniel White-Phillips, James Callaway II and Mary Wellwood. He is also survived by 9 greatgrandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Pippin Funeral Home.
