Betty Jane Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2020, at the age of 87, Betty Jane Smith (Frederica, Delaware), born in Millington, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor H. Tribitt and Violet V. Hammond Tribitt; and her sister Violet Virginia Fleetwood. She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Smith, Sr. of Frederica; her children, Robert L. Smith, Jr. of Coon Rapids, MN and Victoria Lynn Rigney of Frederica; and her siblings, Victor Truitt of Marydel, MD, Jimmy Leathem, Doris Marie Stubbs of Smyrna and Ruth Ashwell of Dover. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
