She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Beckett and Mary E. Tyre of Frankford, Delaware.; her husband Paul Burton; and her siblings, Almenia Showell, John Edward, George Burton and Vernon Harvey Tyre.
She is survived by: her sons, Kendal (Delores) of Camden and Leahmond (Cheryl) of Harrisburg; and her sister Hester Chambers of New Castle. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great children, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
