He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Lanasa and Mary Lanasa (Mullen); and his siblings, Claire Wilhelm, William Lanasa, Anna Barry, Marnie Buchanan, Louis Lanasa, John Lanasa and Thomas Lanasa.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Kay Lanasa (Beatty); his daughters, Georgia Denise Johnson (Jeffrey) of Englewood, FL, Dawn Monger (James) of Singers Glen, VA and Dianna Kay Wisman (Walter) of Mt. Sidney, VA; and his sister Phyllis L. Gill of Bel Air, MD. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Phillip's name to the Hope Center c/o Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church at the above address.
