It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph O. Cannon of Frankford, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orris Cannon and Katharine Cannon; his wife Barbara; and his brothers, John George Cannon and Daniel Cannon.
He is survived by: his children, Patrice Smith, Barbara Denney (Jerry), Joseph Cannon (Kim) and Susan Felicia (Tony); his grandchildren, Jaclyn (Matthew), Barry, Matthew (Kristin), Erin (Christian), Jerry (Jenilee), Blair (Nicole), Jordan (Nicole), Jensen, Dalton, Meghan (Lenny), Dylan (Vickie), Brian (Cordrey), Carrie (Dave) and Heather (Derek); and his brothers, Charles Cannon (Eileen) and Thomas Cannon (Nancy). He is also survived by his 19 great-grandchildren.
