He was predeceased by: his father Carl Greg Ewart, Sr.; and his brother Carl Greg Ewart, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Florence Irene Ewart of Newark; his wife Debbie Ewart; and his sisters, Kay Herrman of Millsboro and Nancy Elder (Doug) of Newark. He is also survived by 2 nephews, 2 great nephews and a great niece.
