She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank M. Gocal and Helen E. Gocal (Kurtz); her son Christopher Anthony Nicastro; and her granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Wood. She is survived by: her husband Anthony J. Nicastro; her daughter Michelle Neafsey (Michael); her granddaughters, Stephanie Wood and Cara Wood; and her brother Francis Gocal. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial.
