He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Nicastro and Mary Longo; his wife Cynthia; his son Christopher Nicastro; his granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Wood; and his siblings, Nunzio Nicastro, Anna Heidenberg (Mike), Nancy Sanders (Olin "Sandy") and Grace Chaconas (George).
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Neafsey (Michael); and his granddaughters, Stephanie Wood and Cara Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
