She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Murray of Washington and Lizzie Anna Murray (Hudson); her son Alton Lee Melson; her great grandchild Zachary; and her siblings, Catherine Horn, Clifford I. Murray, Sr., Carl Murray, Russell Murray, Milbourn Murray, Hilda Anderson, Harriet Wingate and Lilian Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert Melson, Jr. (Diane) of New Kent, VA, Ralph Melson (Vicki) of Pylesville, MD, Wayne Melson (Debbie) of Pearland, TX and Velicia Melson of Frankford, DE; her sisters, Barbara Jean Franklin and Betty Lou Townsend; and her sister-in-law Irene Murray. She is also survived by 9 other grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current restrictions a private visitation will be held at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Agnes' name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
