He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Mathews and Jessie Mathews (Nutt); his wife Helen Mathews; and his sister Jean Krautter. He is survived by: his sons, William R. Mathews (Cynthia) of Felton, James Mathews (Lori) of Wall, NJ and David Mathews (Tammy) of Pleasant View, TN; his grandchildren, Jennifer Luciani (Claude), Meghan, Gregory (Stephanie), Timothy, Shelby Nelson (Cody), Jillian, Mackenzie Cox (Andrew) and Chandler; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Liam Mathews and Scout Nelson.
Social distancing will be observed and face coverings will be required for all those in attendance, regardless of vaccination status.
