It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Earl Capron (Harrington, Delaware), born in Chepachet, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Walter leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Walter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dana Capron, and Anna Capron, Sr. (Just); his parents-in-law, Vada and John Collins; and his brother-in-law John "Mike" Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Capron (Collins); his son Ryan Capron; and his friend Steven Chemel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harrington Moose Lodge (16268 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952). The military honors will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to either the Harrington Moose Lodge, 16268 S. Dupont Highway, Harrington, DE 19952 or to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
