With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jill Elaine Burkey of Felton, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Cooper and Clarinda Cooper; her husband James W. Burkey; her sister Beatrice Carlson; and her grandson Tristen Rowland.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Rowland (Rachel), Ike Rowland (Michele), Tabitha Dillenbeck (Chris) and Tammy Standon (Erik); her grandchildren, Amber, Savannah, Bessie (Shane), Ivan, Alexis, Kristopher and Kody; her great grandchild James; and her sisters, Jan, Sue and Patty. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
