He is survived by: his wife Catherine Sylvester; his children, Melissa Southerland, William Sylvester, Cynthia Travers, Betty Belong, Jerri Meekins and Barbara McGinnis; and his siblings, Ronnie Sylvester, David Sylvester, Kay Sylvester and Lea Ann Sylvester.
