She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Pauline Waters; her daughter Ruth Bratcher Bessix (Linzy Bessix, Jr.); and her siblings, Wanda and Benny. She is survived by: her daughter Vanell Dodd; her grandchildren, Leslie, Xavier Spady and Alexis Spady; her great grandchildren, Jamel, Nathan, Xavier, Jr. and Nyny; and her niece Alyce Waters-Wright. She is also survived by other foster siblings and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pippin Funeral Home (119 W Camden Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, DE 19934). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
