He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Knolls and Delilah "Morehouse" Knolls; his wife Genevieve Jester Knolls; his children, Margaret Smith and Mark Knolls; his grandchildren, Ryan Bailey and Celeste Knolls; and his siblings, Bernice Lanpher, Fred Knolls, Elsie Knolls and Richard Knolls.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Rash (George Jr.) of Petersburg, DE, Sherry Bailey (Ron) of Johnson City, NY, Wayne Knolls (Laura) of Greenwood, DE and Jay Knolls (Michelle) of Wilmington, NC; and his siblings, Alberta Burns of Horsehead, NY, Peggy Babish of Toms River, NJ and David Knolls (Nancy) of Union Springs, NY.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchildren.
