She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll D. W. and Mildred Satterfield; her husband Marvin "Smitty" Smith; her sons, Calvin and Richard Smith; and her siblings, Virginia Taylor, Phyllis Lofland, John Satterfield, Carroll Satterfield Jr., James Satterfield and Charles Satterfield.
She is survived by: her daughters, Madonna Holt and Bonnie Smith; and her brothers, William "Bill" Satterfield and Robert Satterfield. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
