Deacon Arzell Spivey Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2019, at the age of 82, Deacon Arzell Spivey Sr. (Ellendale, Delaware), born in Newton, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Thelma Lewis, Lillian Moncrief and Ethel Washington; and his granddaughter Vonshae Dowdell. He is survived by: his children, Effie Miller, Shirley Spivey Timmons (Timothy), Robert Stewart, James Stewart, Arzell Spivey, Jr. (Arlene) and Harry Spivey (Lisa); his siblings-in-law, Emma Dukes, Minnie Brooks, Angus Price and Jerry Price (Viola); and his grandchildren, Lakisha Williams and James "Rondell" Stewart. He is also survived by 11 other grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
