He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Hinton, Sr. and Francis Alfree Hinton of Holloway Terrace; his wife Doris Ross Hinton; his granddaughter Michele Hinton; and his brothers, Edward, James (Bucky) and Robert Hinton.
He is survived by: his children, Willard Jr. (Bonnie) of Dover, Donna Deal of Middletown and Barbie Griffith of Magnolia; his sister Abbie Bromwell of New Castle; and his close friend Pat Henshaw of Dover. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great children, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1757 Horsepond Road Dover, Delaware 19901.
