He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, TJ Zak (Aubrey) and Heather Zak-Ramsay (Jamie); his grandchildren, Mirabella, Tyler, Gianna, Peyton and Matthew; and his sister Diane Buono (Michael).

In lieu of flowers, the family bequests that donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation in his memory.
