He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Solomon (Bradshaw) and Harry Lee Solomon; and his sisters, Patricia Solomon and Sandra Buchanan (Solomon). He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Solomon (Battistoni); his nephews, Robert "Michael" Buchanan (Georgia) of Fredericksburg, VA and Berry Kevin Buchanan (Teresa) of Fredericksburg, VA; his cousin Wayne Bradshaw (Kelly) of Redondo Beach, CA; and his stepchildren, Lisa Abate (Glenn), Steven Battistoni (Allyson), Mark Battistoni (Gioia), Joel Battistoni (Hannah) and Corey Thomas (Wayne). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions to be made to Holy Cross High School, Dover, DE (hchs.org).
