With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Marvin Nantz of Dover, Delaware, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nantz and Louise Nantz; and his sisters, Eloise and Joanne. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann "Mimi" Mackie; his daughter Mary Bell (Robert); his grandchildren, Lindsey of Dover, John of Dover, Andrew of Dover, Mary Emma of Dover, Clara of Dover, Irma of Dover and Sarah of Dover; his son David Nantz (Danielle Waszak); his grandchildren, Kyle of Dover, Tye of Dover, Bella of Dover and Michael of Dover; his stepson Brett Nantz of San Francisco, CA; and his brother John David "Jack" Nantz (Susan) of Portland, OR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at 720 Pear St, Dover, DE 19904.
Because Bob was a lifelong blood donor, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Blood Bank of Delmarva.
