He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard T., Sr. and Mary Scozzafava Gardner; his wife Audrey Gardner; his brother James Gardner; and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Heather), Michael (Donna), Jeffrey, Lance (Salame), Patricia (Kenneth) and Eileen; his grandchildren, Katherine (Jorge), Elizabeth, Richard (Meredith), William (Madison), Samuel, Skyler, Garrett (Jazmin), Mason (Eliza) and Keagan; and his great grandchildren, Bradford, Colten and Aria.
A Mass will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel (910 Birch St, Boonton, NJ 07005).
