Richard C. Barnette Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2018, at the age of 61, Richard C. Barnette (Dover, Delaware) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard C. Barnette to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, John Barnette and Reese Barnette, Jr.; and his nephew Steven Spurlin, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Amber Barnette (Cutting); his children, Dawn Barnette (Charles) of Claremont, N. H. and Richard Barnette, Jr.; his wife Alyssa of Camden; his grandchildren, Brandi Westover, Kayla Westover, Brock Green of Somerset and Richard Barnette, III (Junior) of Camden; and his siblings, Wayne (Cheryl Hayes) of Dover, Teresa Ballard, Ida Barnette and Deana Calvert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews whom he loved and cared for so much. "God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best." A private memorial was held on Aug. 19, 2018 for family and friends.
