She is survived by: her children, Leigh Ann (Richard), Ellen McDowell of Dover, DE, Rear Admiral (Ret) Jeffrey R. (Cynthia) of Blue Springs, MO and David E (Susan) of Huntsville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Wayne Chomitz, Lindsey McDowell, Leslie McDowell, Jennifer Grebe (Carlton), Jeffrey R. Penfield II (Megan), Scott Penfield (Nikki), Keegan Laessig, Angela Glover, Stephanie Lucas (William), Christopher Little, David Penfield, Richard Penfield and Matthew Penfield; her great grandchildren, DeShawn, Aniya, Jailyn, Aliyah, Jackson, Wesley, Dylan, Cameron, Bennett, Jeffrey R. III, Ava, Eleanor, Tyler, Harmony, Cortland, Jessica, Skylar, Ember and Hazel; and her sister-in-law Barbara Rothweiler.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (631 S State St, Dover, DE 19901).
