She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Read and Ethel Hawkins; and her sister Julie Gardner. She is survived by: her husband Raymond DePhillis; her daughters, Stephanie Sforza, Vanessa Hammel and Lauren Stevenson; her grandchildren, Brianna Stevenson, Baylee Stevenson and Cassidy Hammel; and her siblings, Pat McKenna and Robert Read.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Peters Episcopal Church (22 N Union St, Smyrna, DE 19977). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
