She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Pierce and Martha R. "Murray" Pierce; her husband John R. Hughes Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Rachel M Green and Eleanor Hughes Thompson; and her aunt Linda Loatman.
She is survived by: her brothers, Donald Pierce (Grace) of Ephrata, PA and Kennard Pierce (Susan) of Broken Arrow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
