She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward V. Dodd, Sr. and Helen Jollon Dodd; her sister Helen Edward Dodd; her husband Zadoc A. Pool (Bill); her children, Vincent Pool (Robin) of Mobile, AL, Maryellen Wray (Robert) of North Potomac, MD, Regina Hogan (Brad) of Fort Myers, FL and Anthony Pool (Teresa) of Dover; her sister Ann Dooling (John) of Alton, IL; and her sister-in-law Mary Dodd of Camden. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Thomas More Academy, 133 Thomas More Drive, Magnolia, DE 19962, to which Joan and her family had a deep devotion.
