With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary James Wallick of Dover, Delaware, born in Salisbury, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his mother Doris J. Truitt Torbert; his brother Franklin R. Wallick "Randy"; his uncle Bill Truitt (Mary Truitt); and his friend Yaruth. He is survived by: his father William C. Torbert, Jr. (Joyce) of Dover; his siblings, Lisa H. Torbert of Lewes, DE, Patricia "Patti" Olenik (Danny) of Kennett Square, PA, William C. Torbert (Lisa) of Smyrna and Sharon L. Belleville (Yvan) of Canaan, VT; his cousins, Gregory Truitt (Melissa), John Horrell (Stephanie), Paige and Cambell Truitt; his nieces and nephews, Elena, Steven Mason, Jim and Cheryl Turner; and his pet Tucker.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Delaware Submarine Association, 607 Brookfield Dr., Dover, DE 19901.
